The summer on 2015 was a time of “taking the leap” for me. For a looooong time I have wanted to share my creativity with others and introduce them to new ways, tools, and techniques. Well, I finally did it. It took a lot of courage, but I am so glad I did.
Here is my first “Creative Workshop”.
The ladies had the option of making a mason jar organizer or a hat rack (or whatever you wanted to hang from it rack).
We used reclaimed wood fence boards.
I had them start from scratch. They could select the size they wanted themselves and cut the board to size.I showed them how to use the jag saw so they could put a fun edge on their projects.More jig sawing.I always have a pretty good stash of paint on hand.Lets get painting.
Gotta have some grub too.Putting on the finishing touches.A couple finished projects.Scarf rack
I am a stay-at-home mom to an amazing, energetic 6 year old boy. I also have a beautiful, intelligent 22 year old "bonus" daughter. I have a minor, okay major, obsession for design and creating. I studied interior design at CSUSacramento and have dabbled in it ever since. I always have some kind of project that I am working on whether it is painting a chair I picked up at a garage sale or organizing a closet. I have recently ventured into the world of teaching(?). Beginning the summer of 2015, I decided that I would host creative workshops at my home. They have been a blast and a hit. It is so great to share creativity with others. I hope to share some of my projects, creations, and workshops with you.
